It's still leaking but only a 5 cm puddle in 5 days of being stood. Is this
liveable?

How much would a decent axle set me back? Don't need the diff as it's known
good.

There are probably a few people here who have chucked axle casings
out. I have weighed a few in over the last year or so. Only have an
empty front one, and a rear one with a big hole in now though!

Unless you want to convert a LWB salisbury one down to SWB specs, in
which case i can help you! (you need to chop off and re-weld the
spring brackets and probably shorten your prop)

Remind us what was happening again Nige, I didn't follow it the first
time round, leaking from a joint or have you found a crack somewhere?

It's gone porous due to rust, they welded it up but it's still leaking a bit. It needs a new casing or
summat!
