I remember reading that gresham had different sized brake calipers from different vehicles on one or both axles.

OK - never read that anywhere but can't deny it as true or false. TBH the only reporting of the whole incident that I followed was on the TV news - obviously quite heavily reported locally seeing as the case was heard at Lincoln Crown Court. I am only commenting from gut feeling and having been around him and his Landy at a number of events. I personally feel his crime was driving too fast for the road and its conditions and the media in their gusto to convict him expanded infomation to make this sound more reportable.

Let's be honest - if it had been a guy driving a bog standard BMW (and this did actually happen at a different point on the river with his two kids in the car - luckily people were on the scene very quickly and no-one was seriously injured) would the media have been so interested?

Anyway, it was not my intent to try and rev anyone up on this subject and being a newbie on here I don't want to alienate people. I think I have digressed this thread too much already.

WOW you lot are worse than women at a party who have all come with the same bag...

i get the feeling this fella just wants a gool looking and mell functioning landrover, as far as reg goes thats all you seem bothered about, mabe he does want to do it legaly all you'll do is put his back up like this. and if he dosnt want to then he'll no be listening to your moaning anyway and do as he pleases.

:multiply:if you dont like it i do and i think ints a good job and i hope mine turns out as good, mabe with less look at me toys tho...

All the best of luck mate whatever you do with your reg, good man for trying :clap2:

What would an 8 year old know about a valid discussion on the legalities of what the OP was doing? Away to bed with you junior and masturbate about slammed bmw's (cock) and trucks (neither of which have anything to do with landrovers)

ok then gratch i did have a jolly good tug about my beemer and thanks for the cock mention, it was very pleased to get some notification of the abbuse it was about to suffer...

i looks less like a valid disscussion to me and more like your flameing the poor bugger for trying, i'm not advocating an illigal builg anymore than anyone else on here but i think he's doing a good job and is here for advice and support, not a jolly good telling.

as for being a juniour, thats a fair point, i dont post alot, but mabe im not normaly so oppinionated and would rather read and learn than whore myself about needlessly and disscourage people from doing something that is perfectly legitimate. that is all. xx

Ah but thats the whole point if the op keeps the series reg its not legit!
Ps how do you drive the bmw with rear susp so low, or is it on air?

Lynall

we dont know if its going to be on origional reg or not thats the point lol but never mind...

when i built the bmw i moved all the bits inside the car, fuel cell, and exhaust also drive train was moved further up into the tunnel on custom mounts i whizzed upon the lathe
