Well, we had fun, even if we did spend 2hrs digging, jacking and pulling RPG's Disco 3 when it got wedged in a lane.
Got it out without any major damage in the end.

Er...sorry guys :frusty:
Good recovery though, in the end. Just need a few poppers and a bit of glue for the front wheel arch and I'll fix the dent in the step at work tomorrow. All the scratches are gone and it's looking good as new. Pretty resilient beast, really...helped by a good recovery team, of course! :D
Great day...up until the part where I tried getting amorous with a treestump:rolleyes:...and great lanes. Cheers guys!

and this is why I didn't really mind the damage and why I love the D3...

And this was the wheel arch and side step in question...

Yeah, the proper landys made it through no probs!!!

:Cry:Only 'cos yer narrower! (Oh, and I might have been a little impatient!)

1790mm for a Defender, 1915mm for a D3! I call that unfair advantage! Anyhow, I like trees, I do! :D

The Mrs always did like them big :D
(I think it's 2055 with steps and 2190 with mirrors!) Next time I might just bring a bus!

Ha! Gorra vid uploadin as we speak (not sure the soundtrack will get through Youpube's censorship though) - should be watchable tomorrow i hope. Was a good day - shame we never made it to the really good lane!

Ere yar yer miserable bunch. Highlight at about 5 and a half mins (sorry it went on a bit!) - and had to fill the last minute with old stuff as was too busy recovering to film the recovery! Tried not to fill it up with high speed lanes this time (although there are a couple!)

I thought the D3 did superbly, only let down by being a bit wider than ours! Everythhing else was easy for it and full respect to you for using it as intended (glad the scratches buffed out ok though!!) - i had hoped to get some more "from infront" action shots (stream crossing, down the steep bit, etc) but you only went and got stuck din'cher!!! Did you like "Trewminator" at 5.30?

Ear yar

That looked like a great day out

**EDIT**

I am a knob from the land of knob..

I thought Kernow was in Poland or something. Then I saw all the UK plates, no problem, could be bunch of Ex-pats.. But then something rang a bell with Liskeard so I googled it..

Ha! The wideos off trewski and oddski are the werry best.

Not got youpube at work unfortunately (bastids!) so will check em out later. Mine might be available in hi def (not watched it yet!) but the initial quality is a bit iffy anyway as had to reduce the quality loads to zoom in!

Might as well be in poland - tesco now has a Polish section (and that's not the boot cleaning polish!)

Nic vids Trew, good choonz!! Did you spot my camera in the undergrowth at 1:08 on the second one?!!! (and then "a desperate man" at 3.20!)

Yea - the camera in the tree worked well!

I think he got despondent when I asked him if he had comprehensive insurance and how much no-claims.
