Should not have given the car a cleanout, found a rust hole on the rear boot floor pan under the passanger seat , drivers side
, it does not seem much at the moment, about 5mm gap for 4", would it be better to cut and weld this section rather then replacing the whole floor pan as it entails the removal of carpets, trims, seatbelts etc, also in the engine compartment, the top of the wheel arches both side are very crunchy, how would you repair these and is it expensive and how long to sort out? the car is required for work durring the week so it cant be in the body shop longer thena day.
The car is a 92 (K) V8i auto, only has just done 99k miles, so would like to fix the above before parting company, never had any mechanical problems as such, besides the steering wobble, just the body work is going.
Unless some one wants to take it over for a off road project
