Rusty Sills

Hello everyone,
My freelander 2 it's a 2008 failed its MOT due to rust. RUST on a Landrover and it seems to be fairly bad is rust a common problem with Landrover

Would you mind sharing a photo of it?

All depends where the rust is if the rear. Best detail what area the MOT picked up.

It all depends on the local roads/what the car is used for/is it ever clenaed underneath etc,
I first noticed the bottom of the sills on my 06 D3 were going rusty 3/4 years ago, so car was younger then than what yours is now.
Prevention is better than cure, ie some form of protection, wax/diesel/oil/grease anything that protects the steel.

The question do land rovers rust ?is a most definite yes! the new ones are better, but the apple did not fall far from the tree!
