i cant believe the amount of rusty nuts on my 05 defender, is it worth me undersealing or painting the underside of my 90 ,or did landrover actually do something about rotting chassis befor e mine was built, new to landrover ownership and lz

Waxoil it mate, underseal is a load of bollox.
And you should be bloody greatful it's just your nuts that are rusty.

I waxoiled my defender last winter - works a treat and looks good too. Horrible job to do though if you do not have a pit or a ramp. I ended up with wax oil in my hair, eyes, nose etc and the damn stuff is near impossible to get off. I tried wearing goggles but they got covered in the first few minutes and I couldn't see what I was doing.

I waxoiled my chassis a year an a half ago, not much left of it now (waxoil).
