Thanks for your reply , Iam confused by this link as one ad says he is in Berkshire and charges £390 plus vat then another page on that ad says rugby and £590 plus vat I know it's not gonna be cheap but I also want it doing properly
 
Just dont go there, do a search first theres been many a thread on lots of forums about that company.

Some of the arguments were awesome
I always remember the disco b+a did that literally rusted away the front bulkhead and the ensuing argument, b+a did pay for the welding repairs to the car,
I would love to read that thread again as Im sure would many others.
 
I admit his customer skills are appalling but I had a D1 done by B&A - when I sold it 7 years later there was no rot at all, even in the boot floor. I had my current 2001 D2 done by him when I bought it 6 years ago and again the rear chassis is still completely solid although has surface rust.

He's still around and people do go back so he can't be all that bad. However, I'm thinking about having the back end of my Disco refreshed and am considering these people: http://krown.co.uk/

No idea of cost and it's not in my "urgent" list but will certainly report back as & when.
 
to anyone who lives in the stafford area please check Ashley 4x4 they have done a great job on cleaning and resealing the underside of my disco and not charged the earth , also he has done other jobs and for once not charged sky high prices . I WOULD RECOMMEND HIGHLEY
