Hi All
i bought my 2005 defender 110 back in Jan 2014, mainly to cart all my fishing gear in, but also because there are lots on narrow lanes on my route to my kids' school and I got fed up with all the yummy Mummies in their Chelsea tractors forcing my A5 Quattro into the ditches - they soon stopped when I started using the Defender to take the kids!!
I haven't done much to it - took the rear bench seats out to make room for the fishing gear, swapped the original speakers for ones that work! And swapped the old Landy radio for a DAB Pioneer set.
But this weekend I decided to spruce up a bit of the paintwork starting with the front winch bumper. So I removed the bumper to discover that it is virtually all rust!! And I wondered where i should go to get an identical replacement.
I attach a couple of photos - i know they're not very good!! Can anyone point me in the right direction to get a replacement?
All advice gratefully received!!
Geoff

The bay of E
just search for Defender bumper or add in the word winch.
You can get a cheap original style bumper, if you don't use the winch, or a galvanised one which won't rust as easily and last much longer...or even a stainless steel one if you want to be really posh ;)

Welcome to the forum.
Enjoy the mayhem.

Hi and welcome!

As mentioned, galvanised is the way to go. It will outlast anything else! The bumper is exposed to lots of salt and road spray so will rust quickly unless galvanised. Try paddocks, craddocks, eBay, etc or google galvanised winch bumpers.
