Rust treatment

Hi, just got my first landrover and my first job seems to be to treat some rust aroun the doors and uner the door trim. What is the best way to treat this. Ive been told to wire brush the areas down kurust them and then hammerite. does this sound ok or are there other methods, the last resort is 4 new doors.

Also the seals seem to need replacing is this an easy job.

One last thing the window wipers dont work im i best to take the dash board of an check the motor.

Any advice would be great

Rust..... thats a start, see what develops

Seals.....easy enough, shop around, dont buy genuine parts for rubber and dont forget the one under the door. (that can be pop riveted)

Wipers........Check the fuse first and invest in a multi meter, it will come in handy (less than a £5)

hammerite do a product called rust beater its a all in one product.The only prob because of eu law its being discontinued so look in discount diy stores for it.NO FRILLS, BUYOLIGY types of stores.
