atleast once its done you will know its solid again, well ok atleast until its starts again
like it!

yep what you say is true - the front inner wings I did 3 years ago are still going strong, chalk one up for YRM panels :)

but the sills have gone again , mind you they was b******t ones done in 2008.

further evidence that I've forgotten how to weld

the pace of this rebuild is getting slower the more I do - hate welding in the wet.

You are not alone!! That's so familiar, just like looking in my garage!! I was about to fit my new wheel arch last week, but found a hole in the bottom of the sill where arch welds on. As usual one hole turned into ten, and this weekend I removed the complete inner and outer sill, hopefully get the new ones fitted next weekend. Your rear panel, where the extra boot dickie seats bolts in, is not as bad as mine, I could have almost got my head through the hole in mine! I have made plates up and welded these on both sides to beef up the seat belt mounting areas here. One bonus point though, you will be an absolute expert with the grinder when you are finished!! Cheers.:clap2:
