so i just took it round the block alot cooler engine not red hot as last night i will keep an eye on it
but its been idling very high since the tps sensor and stepper were off and i cleaned them and new radiator
between 1000 and 1500 rpm pretty high never done this before was always between 500-1000rpm i just took the maf cable off and the airbox cable off and it never ran any diffrent than with them on exact same this is the second maf its not long on mind i had to rewire the loom!
any ideas anyone? as long as you think im not being arsey that is!
 
i think it should run crap at low revs with the maf disconnected but run better higher up. ( i think thats the right way round)
there is a thread on here somewhere about it but i can't remember
 
did you put the tps back in exactly the same position that you took it out (nor sure on the p38 but i know on the shoguns it can screw your idle up)
it seems more likely to be the stepper or tps thats out of whack because they were the only thing you took off
 
yeah thats what i was thinking something to do with them and i only unplugged the plug in the maf j
 
you must remember you running on gas not petrol i know fook all about gas running when you on petrol it will make big dif. for now just get her up off bumps sort petrol leek out then you can look at fine tune
