2007 110 Puma can you run without rear prop shaft
You can do for short periods while either diagnosing issues or waiting for parts to arrive. It is not a long term solution to anything and should not be done for any reason other than the above.2007 110 Puma can you run without rear prop shaft
My son went to drive his without the rear shaft and heard an almighty clang as the drum went for a spin a few months agoIs the transmission brake drum held on with the propshaft nuts? If so make sure you bolt it back on.

The coupling [ a viscous unit] in the rear prop gave up [ seized probably] and the prop was removed to prevent damage to transmission due to wind up.This is done with my Freelander.
Why is this?

Is the transmission brake drum held on with the propshaft nuts? If so make sure you bolt it back on.
Jeeps (I believe) are rear wheel drive and standard not front wheel drive same as pickup trucks. And to do that you need the conversion kit not just unbolt the prop shaft.
