running in oil??

comma sonic for the run in on mine with lots of zinc in for the flat tappets, does the 6.2 have flat tappets?

Bring the red one down mate, I want a go and you need to put the miles on it neway

well that was fun!!

took me feckin hours to get oil pressure...in the end had to disconnect the oil cooler and blow (hard) down the pipes to force the oil in the pipes down to the pump...finally then oil pressure!!!(took me ages to remember that trick, doing it took afew minutes..)


all because i forgot the vasaline!!0

she run good now?

no vid= it didnt happen

didnt start it..have to put back in glow plugs..then vac pump (oil pump drive) then exhaust crossover...all removed to get oil pressure...took 4 hrs to get glow plugs out!not too easy to get at..thought it best not to start engine up ay night..lol

back together now.....

Bring it down to run it in (aka I really want a go and I need you to check I have done my cam timing right before I go in for my arm op! )
