Runner Boards

Can anyone let me know if it's easy to fit 'runner boards' to my Freelander? I'm not a mechanic, but have a reasonable amount of DIY experience.

And the best place to buy some?

Yes it is as long as you have or can get hold of a heavy duty rivnut gun! The hoiles are in the body but you have to put in some steel rivnuts!

young porky fitted mine. . . .only took im er week

Well you have to havea chocolate digestive now and again

You can make the tool yourself with a flat metal bar and the correct size nut & bolt.

not sure about running boards , but side bars must be similar

fitting the clinch nuts takes longer than fitting the side bars,
only 4 x 6mm setscrews hold them on , takes less than 10 mins a side

have a go its not diffficult
