I have a 1972 rangerover hybrid (RR classic with defender body and canvas back) which currently has the fuel tank and filler in the back of the cab behind the driver and passenger seats.
Does anyone know if this is ok? I am fine with it but I am sure that Sainsburys turned the pump off on me the other day when I was leaning in to fill it up! I didn't say anything as at the time I assumed it was full and they didnt say anything to me but on looking inside it later that day I noticed it wasnt quite full.
It has passed an MOT etc so I would assume it was fine although I could see why some people might be funny about it. The only other ones I have seen with tanks located where mine is were pickups and the tank was outside the cab.
Many thanks
