Bought my Landy from a farmers market and the owner at the time was saying that one of its big selling points was that it was agricultural registered meaning no tax, and red diesel. Which is all fair and well however he said it can be used on the road for short distances. Mine will be taxed as a lights good vehicle when the rebuild is fully complete but after doing a search on google I'm slightly confused as to the rules around a Land Rover being agriculturally registered. I was under the impression that red diesel is a no no for any vehicle if it's going to touch a public road? Anyone know the rules behind this?
