RRS 2014 5.0l air con issue

My air on has quit on me and I’m told that it’s a leaking pipe behind the engine. However I’m also told that the engine has to come out to fix it.
Has anyone on here had this issue and fixed it without removing the engine. TIA.

Certainly those who don't work on them... But then, once it's out of guarantee.....
