rrc rear wiper

Hi everyone. Been having some problems with rear wiper on my 1988 rrc. Its working when ever it wants to after me hitting the switch a few times and even turns itself on at random. Any of U guys have an idea as to what the problem may be.? Thanks in advance.

Switch . they dont like being hit only pressed.

I didn't mean in literally. Ha. I've actually tried an new switch though and it made no difference.

I have this same problem and it must be a poor contact somewhere.

I had problems with mine. Motor all checked out ok so had a look under the dash, whipped out the delay timer relay (stamped PRC7404 but now PRC9957) after testing it there was 12v in but not out, plugged it back in and all works fine. I have ordered another relay as its either a poor connection or the relays is on its way out.
