RR Sports HSE TD6 or TDV8

Hi all

Sorry ish to say am now thinking of letting my DSE go for one reason only that is will be starting a new business venture in France next year so I need a vehicle as a daily drive that is going to be very reliable and lower millage than my old lady.

So am considering another RR this time a Sport either a V6 or V8 whats your opinions on these models please will be looking to a 2007 HSE model with as low miles as I can find.

Yes I know it will prob have thor odd gemlin as well but being over there with less help and support I must go for a newer drive but keep it in the family etc.

so thoughts please bring em on.

Technical advice on the sports is a little thin on the ground. If you are planning on doing your own repairs I would go for a L322, service manuals are easily available for these, the sports are another matter. The V8 diesels are are a world better than the TDV6.

I did have a TD6 Vogue an loved the car however am thinking now a slightly smaller car eg the sport with the v6 or v8 diesel as a daily drive so fuel economy comes into the plan but not a deal breaker with the v8.

Just wanted to know what the Sport is like to live with on daily drive use as I did find the L322 to be a bit big and heavy compared to the P38 even though the diesel takes it's time when cold.
