RR P38 leather

Hi chaps,
Sorry if this has been covered but I can't seem to find the answer I'm after. I currently have a discovery 2 td5 2001, with cloth seats. I've just seen a few sites saying that RR P38 leather seats will fit? Is this correct? As they seem to be more readily available,

I was looking into this for ours. The fronts aparently fit with some adjustment/brackets for the rear two mounts.

The rears are more of a pain but I couldn't get a definate answer as to why.

Also a point that I was wondering about is the electronic controls. On the P38 they are on the side of the seat and I'm not sure if there would be enough room in the Disco to reach them with the door closed. A simple fix would be to wire the motors up to the original center console controls.

Would they also fit a disco 1?

More work to get them in a d1 but it has been done before.

RR classic seats go straight into a d1 though (assuming it's a 5 door).
