Just bought a RR p38 2,5 dse(BMW) whit overheating issue.
It works fine om small trips and at idle. But when pushing the engine for a longer time(up a hill or at the highway)the tempreture suddenly rise quickly up to red and the red lamp light up. I then go out and release the presure and fill up the coolant (3liters) the tempreture is back to midle, and it works fine again. Any suggestens?
Changed the waterpump to the metal type and New thermostat.
No oil in water
No water in oil
