No. With a high post count you can see what someone is like. All your posts have been argumentative so far so the impression one gleans from this is that you like an argument.
Kettle, pot, burned arse. Notice I haven't responded to the last comments made and when someone else has answered for me I haven't jumped in with well said etc etc. The OP asked a question on a Land Rover forum about Land Rover products. An enthusiast would answer with relevant Land Rover information. The RRC ended because it could no longer meet with safety criteria and the technology existed to go one better. The P38 gets a rough ride along with the Freelander but without them Land Rover would have died 15 years ago.

I reckon jeremy clarkson had the only classic That ever worked properly when he went to bolivia and rasheed has the only p38 that works properly :p

with britpart bits too :D

shh! she might hear you! :D

but yes, generally the important bits do work properly. right now the airconditioning is dead ,it needs new HO2 sensors and there is a leak from possibly a blocked sunroof drain. i just don't consider those as the end of the world.

Try a Go-Pro HD camera, they're pretty good at recording these sort of antics! Perhaps mount it on the dash or somewhere more solid than the rear view mirror?

...

Oh, and the sidewall profile is a percentage not a measurement! ;) I.e. 225/65/16 has a 147mm high sidewall (65% of 225mm), not 65mm...that would be very low profile for a RR wheel!! The 235/35/17 tyres on the back of my BMW are 80mm high, and look like elastic bands wrapped round a wheel!! :D

Sorry Mike, missed your comments on my last read through. Thanks for the tip and the hedjukayshun! :)

Well...I spent about 5 hours driving the P38 yesterday, mostly round London at a worrying 14mpg!! BUT it really is a much, much better road car than the Classic - leagues ahead, in fact. It rides better, steers better, is more roomy - and, in many respects, I do prefer it and kind of wish I had bought one.

However, for my needs the Classic was still the right choice. The only thing to scupper me so far was an electrical probelm (dead starter motor) and with the myriad of electrical circuits (and problems) associated with the P38, I'm glad I don't have quite so much to worry about!

I would like to overhaul the Classic's front end though, to make it a nicer drive on the road - there must be parts available now to sharpen up the steering, etc!
