Hi All,
I have just purchased off ebay , a used LPG kit for a pre EFI RR classic (twin carb.), solely for the twin 36ltr tanks that I needed for my installation. The control box that sits in the cab states that it is a VIP1 make(italien). All the wires are there,the vapouriser and main solenoid , also the water pipes and gas pipe tee'd off to two manifolds with gaskets.There are only six wires connected to the back of the control box , out of seven available. The switch on the front has position 0,1 and 2 . I have deducted that one is petrol selected and 2 is gas . Does anyone have wiring diagram for this equipment, and what would the 0 setting be for. I can see this is a basic self switch over type. I intend to put this stuff back on ebay to reclaim some of the outlay , unless someone offers me 50 quid . I realise that there were two types of carb. available over the years , and am not certain of this type (could supply a photo).Can anyone help please ?
