Hi,
I accidently connected battery jump leads wrong way round on my CSK. Contact time was the time for a violent spark - about 0.5 seconds. Now it wont start. Cranks and sparks OK, but dead. Power to the main relay and fuel pump relay under drivers seat and therfore to the ECU. These relays work by the ECU controlling the earth side of the relay (pin 85) Sound like the ECU is stuffed - any advice anywhere - preferably sensible. Vehicle is CSK 004 and in VGC. No corrosion here in NZ - pleasure to work on older vehicles. Things come apart just like they say in the Haynes manual - honest!
