Rose jointed steering

Hi all, I was told about forum by a guy in our club.
I have a p38 hse with 35" creepy crawlers on it, and all the stuff done
To accommodate them, but I have a question.
Has anyone fitted Rose joints instead of ball joints on the drag link
And track rod?
Also I am led to believe that if done it won't pass a mot.
Is that correct?

Leinster4x4.ie, 4" coil lift and a grinder, yes on tarmac, no off-road.
