My disco is a 1989 200 tdi. The roofs are original but might as well be aftermarket as the fit of the glass is rubbish. The curve of the glass front to back is greater than the curve of the roof so it pulls tight down on the seal front and back but the sides don't really touch the seal all the way along.
I thought fitting a new seal would cure it but it never stopped the leaks.
I then thought maybe I was looking in the wrong place so siliconed up where the edge of the frame meets the roof skin but still no joy.

Yep those original pop out sunroofs were a bit shoddy.
Tbh I'm glad I have them over the 300 which was more complex and more leaky!
At least the 200 just leaks through the glass!!
