does anyone know where i can get a roof mounted pod to hold me radio, a CB and maps etc
i dont want to give them a dunking when i go fording

you get glass-fibre roof linings which have a radio pod/ speaker points in them, there was a thread not long ago about them with the link to the site. some italian company makes them.

i'v got them in a S3, look quite good but rattle like fook on bumps, i was goin to take them out and fit carpet instead, cos i love that smelly old carpet smell, and it dampens all the other rattles/engine grumble while keepin more heat it!!

i gots a ones of them under me dash but it could get wet with the deep fording i plan to do the roof should stay dry hence why i want it up there

no ideas are stupid and all input is greatfully recieved, the roof ramps up too sharply to fit a radio directly to it, i have been thinking about making a shelf above the windscreen to hold the radio, a cb when i get one and me satnav
