Roof leak

Hi all, I took the sunroof motor out yesterday, seized solid, so I took it apart & it's obviously suffered water ingress & is beyond repair(see picture). I continued today removing the head lining as water was also getting in by the drivers side A post. So with me sitting inside & the trouble & strife hosing the roof I could see water coming through the top R/H corner of the screen I also noticed water dripping in from where the drive for the sunroof motor goes in so both these match the areas of the problem . When I looked at the roof outside I could see the gutter around the roof still full of water so I presume one or both drains are blocked. So
Q1 is it best to cut the drain tube to remove it from the drip tray,knowing how fragile the plastic is, to check/ unblock them?
Q2 I've got some sikaflex 221 will this be ok to use sealing screen rubber?
Q3 Do the plastic corners where the drain tubes attach look original? (All four,front & rear, look the same). Any advice greatly appreciated.
So today checked sunroof tubes/ tray for blockages but all was well. I ended up taking the sunroof out & I can only presume the leak was due to seal failure which caused ingress into the motor. Now all cleaned up see before & after pictures. I will re-fit this evening as when the body work has cooled down ( I spoke to Sikaflex technical who recommended this). Cure time for a 5mm bead is about 48 hrs in at the Current temp, working time approx 45 minutes.

221 sikaflex will be fine for sealing the Windowscreen rubber, I can’t answer the other questions as luckily I purchased mine without sunroofs ,

Thanks for that. Your wise, I would never opt for a sunroof, don't see the point of them with air con(even though this doesn't work either at the moment) The only time the one on my Freelander has been open in over three years is when our mutt jumped from rear of the car to the front & hit the sunroof switch, which then jammed open when the missus opened it further instead of closing it, took me fudging ages to get it shut, FUSE PULLED !

Silkaflex for the sealing sunroof frame to vehicle roof, glass seal is the rubber seal only, drains are ‘designed’ to take away water laying on top of the glass when tilted, thats why the drains are only at the front... not water from a faulty sunroof although they may do if your lucky, and definitely not from a faulty frame to body seal.

The tubes just twist an pull off, but go back with a tie wrap pulled tight also block the corners off then when it resealled on the top of the roof, once the inside isall bolted up, I sealed that to to the inside roof, I got my new headliner material https://www.martrim.co.uk 72 inch wide material including 3 tins of contact glue

Fecking hate sunroofs, never understood why anyone would want one in the first place.
Maybe a fixed glass with a retractable visor below, possibly, but an opening window on yer roof, hell no thats stupid and unnecessary !!!

I hadn’t any experience of sunroofs therefore didn’t won’t them, but i couldn’t buy my D1 without them they weren’t an option back then. I only open them once or twice a year to clean any moss from around the seal, then close and stay closed no issues in 23 years... so i’m happy
