Fed up hearing about the forth coming Oily Picnics?

Fhooseball team been relegated??

Then have no fear, we have the perfect antidote for the pre summer blues.

Starting somewhere close to Oswestry on Saturday 19th May, we'll be heading to the coast taking in some stunning scenery and awesome greenlanes.

Possible night trip near the coast

Camping overnight (which is not compulsary)

Sunday, working our way back to Shrewsbury via Happy Valley.

Ive never met a better group of people to go laning with and they wouldnt stand for anything short or responsible driving.

Which day will strata be on?

I wasn't planning on Strata this time as I was there earlier this month.

I prefer to utilise a rotation system where I don't drive a lane for a period of time, generally a couple of months so as not to overload the good lanes and add to the increasing pressure these lanes are put under by regular use.

I have plenty of good ones to do and some new ones which i'll be checking on before the trip.

Good strategy, 'specially for Strata .. over-used a tad methinks. But then, most of it is rock based and can stand it, I just wish the dickwads would stop driving off-piste, thinking the whole river and banks are fair game!

It really is crazy at the moment, although it's been like it for years. At least steps are being taken to keep vehicles to the road on Strata.

More worryingly is Wayfarer at the moment, that really is starting to look a mess especially the more softer area's.

I heard a whisper last week that someone has started to rip up the railway sleepers on the route which just knocks me out trying to consider their motives.
