pete at moonraker 4x4 in salisbury makes and fits them
If your having your sills cut out why don't you just have them replaced with box section? Loads cheaper than buying rock sliders and do the same thing!
whatever paint you use it will wear off over time where u get in and out of the landrover anywayFound a guy who is fabricating me a set of rock sliders and tree sliders and will cut out existing sills and weld in place. He is a landrover buff and a professional welder. However, the new sills etc will not be painted. He advised that I use red oxide and then paint over - not hammerite. What is the best paint to use?
So what's the answer? Powder coating?
Hammerite from me too, but don't use red oxide first though as Hammerite doesn't mix well with it. Oh and have you thought about getting a taller mrs?
If she reads that you won't be trying anymore!!
