Did you fit the T-max split charger yet Rob?

Any piccies?

Errr. Nope not yet. Still sat in a box indoors waiting to go on. Do have a 2nd alternator though instead atm. :)

The split charge will be fitted still but depends when I get on and wire in the 3rd battery and all the aux stuff properly.

Plan with that is the 3rd battery will be charged from split charge system along with the starter/existing electrics battery.

And the alternator will charge the 2nd battery for the winch/ rear winch too. (when I do the mod to fit rear winch anyway )

Is 3 batteries enough?

Possibly :D

Like I say one is just for aux equipment. One for winch/winches, and the normal battery for the standard stuffs.

Some progress with the trug will be made soon.

Couple of months time (when the weather is nicer) should see some progress with rear winch/bumper removal/rear crossmember modification.

Also sills are being boxed soon too as they are on the way out/damaged from offroading. Rear arches may possibly get tubbed at the same time.

Got some time off in July to get this done. So will have to think about ordering steel and ally from work soon. :)

Nothing much of an update really. Mainly pics of a recent greenlane trip I organised last weekend plus a few jobs on the disco out of the way. :)

Anyway will start of with the greenlane trip photos. :D

Started of in Downton (nr Salisbury) and pretty much covered the whole drive to shaftesbury on the lanes plus an extra long lane all the way back to Salisbury over the next Valley. So basically one huge loop. Took us all of 6 hours including a stop for lunch..... I say lunch but mainly consisted of cake and chatting cars for half hour. :D

Anyway the photos. Took by my friend with his SLR camera.

Jack lost his snorkel top on a very scratchy lane had to walk about a mile back to find it. :p

Some of the fantastic views along ox drove.

And finished the day of with a lovely ford.

And then some small jobs done to the disco.

Finally got round to changing my leaking leak of pipes. :p

Safe to say they had had it.

No photos of the new pipes as the engine bay is filthy.

And finally finished the storage in the load space. :)

Will take a better photo tomorrow.

Cheap and cheerful. But it's only for chucking my recovery gear and tools in so not too fussed with how it looks. Spare wheel will sit on the shelf above.

And that's about it sadly. :(

Better photo of the boot. :)

Also have some space either side for a couple of Jerry cans. And space in front where the rear seats used to be for high lift jack, 3rd battery compressor, and such.

Finally got round to installing new front calipers, pads and discs. Only 6 months after rebuilding the axles.

Was rather abruptly prompted to do so when I noticed my brakes were pulling very badly to the right. Upon looking underneath found this......

One of the piston seals decided it didn't want to work anymore.

And the other side which look naff too.

Anyway my order from paddocks was delivered yesterday and 2 hours today got me here. :)

Now all bled and working properly and the disco doesn't try and kill me anymore when I brake. :D
