road tax question

Mot runs out late in a month, tax 2 days later.

If i renew a werk before will it ho through, or will it complain?

Don't want to sorn, as i will need to drive with no mot at least 20 miles. Legally.

Or could i cancel and restart a month earlier.

Just want to keep it taxed for the 1 to 2 weeks from end of mot to chassis repair.

MOT will be out, may have to drive with no road tax as well, usual place of storage to repair and so on.

May see if it si possible to cancel and restart a month earlier.
