Dear All,

I have been badly scammed by Edd from Direct 4x4 in Sling.
I have read on your forum and others about people being ripped off by these thugs. This is still happening as my experience is very recent.
I want to hear from you what can be done to stop them trading and save others like us from such bad experiences. I am determined to put all my efforts in making them known to the Police and Trading Standards. The more of us getting together the stronger case we will have.
I am looking forward to hear from anyone that has anything to say in this case.

My mate has just had a bad buy of this bloke.300tdi engine on a crate and rapped up,got it home and it had been dropped at some point and didn't have any of the bolt on bits as advertised. He has got his money back,it did take a couple of weeks and he had to go and get it which was a trek.
 
Yes, I have posted the previous message under the 'gwent 4x4 amongst other names', it was the first post I found, then this one. So I just tried to reach more people and post it here as well.
And yes, I hate Edd for what he has done to me; my user name reflects that. And it looks like I am not the only one. I am appealing to other people scammed by this guy to come forward as I want to put a case together and present it to the Police and Trading Standards.

yeh, you would of had more response if you had a more sensible name! not to sound like a **** take
 
MPFIVE, did he give your friend cash refund?...just been done by him, bought an engine that never arrived and now getting every excuse why he hasn't refunded my money, now said he's sending a cheque...i said i didn't believe him... he's just put the phone down on me.....legal now

He had to go back and use some strong words and spoke to his dad to get his money back. By the sounds of it hes stiffed loads of people.

m8 this is the same story over and over, his one address was monmouth but it was a business postal address(like po box). So if chasing him he is not at that address

I have been done over too.. Bought an 1.7 astra van yesterday. Half a mile down the road and I have a diesel cloud as a passenger in the back. I went to the police when he refused to refund me and they gave me a trading standards number to the person dealing with the other cases on him. Could email you number if you want it?
 
seems a lot of people done in last few days! then they become members on here! why not become a member first, then they would see what this guy is like,
he wants a stern talking too!!
