Newby sticking oar in......It is remarkable how little fight we have seen from the likes of land rover and other 4x4 manufactuers. I know that staff in land rover dealership near me are starting to fear for their jobs, specially in sales as more and more repeat customers have declared that they won't be getting another 4x4 as the endless aggro is getting to much. Having see what the gree tossers where doing at the other end of the country,( sticking anti 4X4 leaflets under 4X4 wiper blades ) I suggested to the local plod that if it was my vehicle, I would regard it as unlawfull interference with a motor vehicle. I received this reply. Reckon it should be included as they could easily damage a wiper blade.

' Thank you for your e-mail. This group has been active all around the
country, not just in Bristol. The offence you mention of vehicle
interference is contrary to the Criminal Attempts Act of 1981 and requires
an intention to steal the vehicle or to take and drive it away. There is no
criminal offence to cover the act of someone placing a piece of paper under
a windscreen wiper, as happens many times a day with advertising leaflets.
The police were present on the 27th January 2007 at College Green, but
merely to ensure there was no breach of the peace. '

write back to mr plod and tell him you are disabled and was unable to remove the leaflet and therefore you was unable to drive yer car due to their actions. see what inspector knacker has to say about that.

Good Evening Gentlmen,
It may be a bit contrite in the forum today, with opinions to the hykes in charges and the general whitch hunt on 4x4's being hotly debated.
Will they Won't they!!!
I think many can gather my sentiments on this topic from previous entries to the DEBATE.

I also agree that the individual sections should remain that Disco's Defenders etc... Could we there fore have another added for the collective response to the main question..
That way those wishing to participate both verbally and maybe actively can work and build a suitable response to the argument.
Additionally those new to the forum or even those who oppose us may glean some more accurate information ... which would make a rather refreshing change from rhetoric...

Now if you would all Vote for me .... Lord Landy of disco-shire.. I will gladly represent the two finger salutations to our accusers after all is it not written in law that the accuse have right of counsel?

Brigadoon.......a bluddy politician?

A: This is t'internet so your probably not a politician (doubt you'd boast about it or even feel the need to mention it if you were), you're more likely to be a spotty herbert with a penchant for sitting in front of his computer of an evening, naked except for the sock on yer knob.

B: If you ARE a politician..............No, that's irrelevant, cuz' you're not, see A, above. But if you actually were, no fecker on here is ever likely to give you the time of day again, much less believe a single word of what you say.

No-one is throwing their weight around, you're just blathering on like a pompous, puffed up, prig and being berrated for doing so.

Politician, a likely story. Powerless, puny dweeb with a chip on his shoulder more like. Best you go back to fantasising about sending explosive packages to DVLA or having Jeremy Clarksons babies.

Yeah, I know Daft, except fer the last bit, oh, & this one too.

Weeeell, waddaya expect? Some twonk boasting about being a mighty politician, weilding power over lesser mortals. Probably a mortician with bad spelling and an inferiority complex. If it had bin' in the Gaylander bit I'da guessed at beautician.

Well it had to happen, sat here reading with great interest some entertaining posts,as newbee thinking what a forum better than watching people with red noses making prats of themselves and blam.:(
As a funeral director some of my best friends are mortician why start on them.Surely we must have a moderator to delete this thread.:D

A funeral director who's best friends were Estate Agents? Now, that would make a bloke popular!

What kinda geezer could be less popular than that? A masseur who's best friends were wet lepers?
