Hello All,
I know several different threads have been started about this subject,
but I was wondering if a few would be so kind as to measure the ride height
as in the picture below and post their findings..

I have read many items about ground clearance but this is subject to tyre inflation and other factors needing to be taken into account, from the measuring points shown, the only factor is the weight in the Freelander at time of measuring,,

Might be good to get a record of the following;

Facelift..
5 door Freelander 1 (2003 - 2006/7)

Diesel (Td4)
Manual - 18"

17" wheels with 255/55 Tyres
 
2005 td4 3dr with 2 inch lift 20inchs
from the ground upto the bottom edge of the front wheel arch is 33 inchs (fitted with 225 75r16 all terrains)
 
I have been found out after all these years....:eek:

Seems like a pattern is already showing up...18"
 
'06 commercial td4 .. empty loadspace ..
center of hub to lower edge of outer plastic wheel arch trim .. front 'n rears .. 18 inch
tyres .. 225 / 55 H 17
 
Thanks guys I think the answer is quite clear already,
the standard ride height is 18"

when measured from the centre of the wheel to the edge of the wheel arch..
 
448mm front
458mm rear

measured from wheel centre to wheel arch eye brow

2001 v6 5 door

Heavier sump guard at probably 20kg. Fool tank contains 45L of fool.
