Greetings,

My daily driver is an 87 ex-mod 90, due for a spring and shock replacement. Currently setup with the MOD backbreaker HD springs on the rear and standards on the front.

I'm fed up with the hard ride, so am thinking of putting Standard springs on the rear to soften things off a bit. But I don't want to lose any of the ride height.

Do standard springs cause the rear to sit any lower than HD springs? Looking at this chart PART it looks like they're both the same length, but standard compresses more than HD.

Or would I need to put in 1" spacers with standard springs to maintain the ride height?

Cheers all,
Dobbs.
