First few photos are from the day I bought it.

The first job I did on it was to fit a hefty steering guard.

The next job I did on it was to fit a winch and swivel shackles.

Then it required some major surgery. Replaced all four disks and calipers with new pads all round. New A frame ball joint. New rear anti-roll bar drop links. New swivels and steering bar. While I was at it I removed the rear assister springs (it's an ex utility vehicle).

Next up was fitting Masai blind spot side windows.

Something easy after all that went before. I made up a couple of side panels to line the back with.

Then I moved to Shetland and spent some time just enjoying my new life and exploring the locality in my Landy. I've got loads of pictures but I'll spare you the holiday slideshow and only post a couple that I really like.

Not long after I moved to Shetland I joined the Shetland Land Rover Club and managed to take part in one RTV which turned out to be the last one of the year.

Then I started tinkering about with the radiator grille, spotlights, front number plate, seats (put Subaru WRX seats in) and this is how it currently looks:

After four years of hard use and Shetland weather she's not looking quite so good now. I think it's about time I updated this thread. When I'm done with my current crop of night shifts I'll upload some current pictures.

So here's what four years of Shetland weather will do to a nice shiny front bumper:

Another casualty of the weather here. It was literally just being held on by the paint. New one fitted now.

The old radio has a been a bit dodgy for a while now so I've gone all modern and replaced it with a Pioneer "app" radio. It connects to your phone via bluetooth and the majority of the functions are controlled by an app which you download specifically for this radio. It looks pretty cool and sounds great.
