Revisit - wipers won't park

Right, now pay attention you lot, I want answers and I want them now! If possible, that is
I've posted before cos me wipers won't park (300TDI) and I've heard/dreamt that the Defender has a park switch that can be obtained seperately and independantly of the wiper motor but is the same true of the 300 Disco? If so, where would I obtain one of these mythical beasties? Or do I need a complete new wiper motor?

I know I can get a motor but what about seperate park switch? I cannot find a thread about park switch for a disco, can you post the link?

I am pretty sure it is a lucas wiper motor. If it is this is what you should need.

Ok, so far after numerous inquiries I'm unable to find out if that switch will fit my motor. Sorry to bore you all but I'd really like to sort this - does anyone know if the front wiper motor on a 300tdi is the same as the one on a Disco 2 (which I think is the TD5?) I was just going to buy a motor and swap the whole thing but as mine's a LHD that seems to complicate things as the motors are different in some way.....different direction/rotation maybe? I guess the linkage would be different possibly. Anyway, on Ebay a guy has a lhd td5 motor for sale but will it fit? Help!

ps I thought I would just get used to it but I still find that with non-cancelling indicators and non-parking wipers it's just all too complicated for me little head!

Been told today (in case anyone's interested) that there is no park switch on the Disco 300 so now I reckon I'm looking for a lhd wiper motor and linkage assembly if anyone has one lying about in their back pocket that they don't want!
