Hello all (again) , please help! I drove my 1997 2.5 diesel (BMW engine) Range rover last night and all was well. I started her this morning and found the following were no longer working: Sunroof, electric windows, wipers and washers, stereo, heating panel and heated windows. It literally happened overnight!

The lights indicators and horn still work and she drives and runs fine but that's about it. The above mentioned are not playing. I looked at fuses and relays but cant work out what is common between them all. I have a spare V8 scrapper for parts if the bits I need fit. Thank you for any help and advise you may leave. I am pretty desperate for any advise. Thanks again...

Revised bit.
I disconnected the battery and earthed the terminals out. Reconnected the battery but it was still the same. However I didn't need to reset the key or anything, it just started as normal which surprised me. Still, I used the car anyway.

I drove the car for most of the day yesterday as it was not raining. On the last few miles of my trip it all burst into life again. However on starting it again this morning all of the above were off again. I really don't have a clue what to do?

......Regards..... Ian...............

You just have to have a bad connection somewhere. The problem is finding it. Plugs and connections to BECM maybe a start point.

This is getting monotonous. Take the lid off the engine compartment fuse box and have a good sniff for burning plastic. Otherwise as Wammers said, bad connections, bad earths.

Problem with the fuse box is that visual inspection shows little I stripped mine down and once I opened up the board there were over 20 dry joints my guess would be that is where the problem lies but as ever nothing is for sure any smell of burning is an indication it is shot
