Reverse switch wire

I am in need of the wire on my 51 plate td4 that goes between the reverse switch on the gear box up to beneath the ecu enclosure with connectors on each end. Does anybody know if the 1.8 petrol is the same wire and connectors?

They have different gear boxes, is there a reason why you can't put the correct part on?

Can you elaborate on the problem?

I assumed they do have different gear box but is the switch wire the same as there is plenty of 1.8 petrols on ebay for breaking. I need one because my td4 is missin this wire.

Is it literally just a piece of wire you''re (don't know why the double apostrophe) after?

Just take a piece to maplin or somewhere similar and buy a length or buy the correct replacement part...

I am after the correct part. i just need to know if the 1.8 petrol wire has the same switch as the td4 then i can mail a few people that are breaking up a 1.8 petrol. Ive mailed a few that are breaking the td4 and they dont have the wire.

no the td4 has a different switch to L & K series

Put your location in so folks have an idea where you are please, even if it's just Essex or Cumbria, you're likely to get an offer of help rather than just vague suggestions...
