reverse sensor

Hi all

I'm looking to wire in an aftermarket reverse sensor on my mothers 205 TD4 manual and am looking for a wire to have ot switch on only when reverse is engaged.Was thinking the reverse light wire and onto an open/close relay.
Can anyone point me in the easiest path for that wire or is there a simpler way?

Do what I did and buy a wireless Reverse Sensor Kit on E-bay.
All you have to do is place the control box behind trim in boot connect up sensors and splice into reverse light wire with a scotch-lock.As for the panel just stick on dash where you want it and plug into cigar lighter socket and you are away.

What colour wire is for the reverse light and where is it easiest to get to?

I am not sure what the colour wire is for the reverse light but if you take the panel off the right hand side as you look in boot you will see all the wires and just trace it through to your light cluster for the reverse lamp,Thats what I did.

the reversing light feed is a green/brown striped cable
