hi guys,is there a fuse or a connection that works the reverseing lights,dont have any,also window wiper not working either when you put car in reverse,the two of them must be on the same fuse or switch,has anybody got any idea's on this.cheers pat.
 
They're not on a switch as such. The reversing light switch on the gearbox actually sends a signal to the BeCM and it's that which switches the reversing lights on and activates the rear wiper if the front wipers are on.
We are talking about a P38 here I gather and not a classsic?

You're right and the BECM controls the rear wiper, hence my hunch to first check the switch. Easy to do, just get under and take a look. If its sweating gear-oil then its buggered.
