Oddity, not an issue - but wondered if others do it?
OK, so - warm engine - driving along, empty road - traffic light goes red, put car into neutral. Roll to a stop - using the brakes.
As I stop the rev's dip to maybe 500, to the point when my brain says, I must still be in gear and dip the clutch (in panic to avoid stalling) - only for my to realize - I am in neutral. The rev's bounce to 900-1050 and then settle at normal idle (regardless of if I dip the clutch in panic).
It never stalls, but I have never seen this in a car - could it be the vacuum?
Anyone else get this?
