My 2000 DII has colis at the back ( changed by previous owner) and I'm wanting to put the air back in.

This is due to I keep getting the beeps coming back when I disconnect the compressor cables ( I have had the ecu reprogrammed ) and when the compressor is plugged in I get a flat battery if the cars doesn't move for a 5 or so days. I can hear the Compressor 'clicking' alot

....also it adds quite alot onto my insurance due to it being a modification

I still have the compressor and ride height sensors in place. Is there any way I can test these?

I'm planning to buy new bags, is there any thing else I need to get apart from also getting the ECU programmed back to air? - and could any body point me in the direction of a 'how to'.

....I also do not have ACE anymore....I'm assuming that I can air the air back without adding ACE back in???

Thanks for any help you can provide

Right now, I can't answer about testing the system in its incomplete situation. If you're unsure about the quality of the ride height sensors, they're quite cheap really, about 25 quid each.
You say the compressor and the SLABS ECU are still in place, so I would think it might just be a case of replacing the ride height sensors, if necessary, refitting the air bags, but here you might have to check that you have the correct fixing points on both the axle and chassis. Check too that the air lines are complete and undamaged. Then once the bags are fitted, reprogram the SLABS ECU for air and probably recalibrate the system. You can do this with a Nanocom, and probably the Hawkeye too.
ACE and the air suspension are two separate systems. You can run on air suspension without ACE and vice versa quite happily.
I'm sure that if I've left anything out somebody will add a correction.

SLS can live without ACE and vice-versa, they are independent systems, for the SLS fit the bags, plug in the tester, set the management for air then calibrate the ride height sensors...if there's no leak unill the bags and the compressor is working this should be enough, off course check if fusible link FL9 and relay R5 are in place

EDIT; Brian was faster
