Really don' know how you do it!

Better not show u these, lol, was when I first got it , had many electrical / airbag error , only took me several months to trace the wiring error , but best of all job satisfaction and saving 1,000s by not letting dealer working in it

Trouble is I enjoy doing jobs like this , lol

This year should all be buttoned up so can then enjoy some nice days out

Plenty here that also do the same with there landies

Be nice to drive it one day! ;)

Oh no, not that dirty mud stuff, snigger

Mot runs out end of July , is getting a full service 3rd June at the same time to save me trying to get wheels off etc and just makes a lot of sense , he won’t touch auto gearboxes so I’ll see how I get on changing the oil on that , at least everything else will be done

So got to finish off spraying this panel , open up the engines fuse box and install the the wiring loom for the heated windscreen washer jets , so the loom is there all ready to simply plug in the heated jets when I get them later in the year

My aircon doesn’t work due to the condenser leaking , A landy owner was selling his brand new ac condenser , so one of my final things will be to fit that , got to however try and work out how I’m going to do it, lol

So nearly after 3 x years it’s really coming together

Just cleaned / washed panels ready for finish coat

Thought this cartoon was very funny , lol

Wish I had one in this weather!

Find it a godsend , as indeed in the sun and rain, plus stops any nosy neighbours, lol

It’s one of those supposedly can be put up by one person, yeh right , lol , but I won’t mention it measures
3 x 6 m , ;)

want to get another one , say 2x2m so considerably more manageable :D

Have now got the main fuse box apart in order I can retrofit the heated washer jets

Looks like I may have to stop because of the rain, Just in case it’s like the very heavy rain had yesterday

Hi

Got loom fitted and battery back in , have taken pics which I’ll update some time

Started engine all fine

However windows don’t work, drivers side I can just hear a slight buzz, I think where I’ve had the scuttle and A pillars out and with all that heavy rain it’s got into the electrics

Know that door loom seal from the body to the door isn’t in correctly , so thinking water has tracked past

Door mirrors and pass window sprung into life for a few seconds then stopped

All fuses ok and no faults on iid , covered everything back up and just waiting for my scuttle and A pillar to dry completely

Always put a baby gate at the front door so candy can lay there

Finished up and was coming back in, front of foot caught the bottom of the gate and fell forward , yep back ripped out so have got the right ump , laid out on the sofa feeling sorry for myself

Gutted

So wondering if anyone can help please

Now got this window issue I’m convinced with me removing the scuttle / A panels then having that torrential rain has got a connector wet

I got one of those cheap endoscope cameras u use via the iPad and used it to put down the front door hinge panel and noticed the connector isn’t sitting correctly , u can see as it’s raining of water running down the panel which I think is causing the window issues

Does anyone know how hard it is to access please , is the rubber seal part of the connector

Looked on ebay at some looms and not 100% if it is or not

Enclosed the pics , it’s down the front door hinge post looking down onto the connector , sorry it’s abit blurred

Don’t think it’s anything I’ve done with having the fuse box out as it doesn’t make sense, because the passenger window sprung into life for a few seconds indicated to me power must be there

Have tested all the fuses and all sound

It’s just this connector I’m unfamiliar with and if it’s the actual seal or maybe need to buy another seal

Found this video

@1.40 that noise is exactly the same sound as mine is making when I press the drivers window switch

Windows work from the cjb behind the glove box, it’s a real struggle to get out, all dash has to come out,had mine out last year as my passenger window developed a mind of its own, got it out and contact cleaned plugs and it’s been ok since. I believe you can wire around the relays as there fixed into the cjb and are none replaceable.
Cjb is coded to individual car and cannot be over written, £500 new so hope you don’t need one of them.
