Freelander 1 Retrofitting passenger side airbag

Hi, for my 03 TD4 is it easy to retrofit an airbag for the passenger? The handle looks nice but not very useful in case of a crash.
I can get the airbag itself for around 20 and I presume the cabling is there... Do I need computer or the most important bit does the ECU need to know?

Yes, it's easy.

The harness might not be there, but easy to fit. You'll also need the SRS module, as well as the airbag.

Thanks Nodge I shall look into it.
Is the srs module separate (per side) or I need a srs module which is aware of both airbags, replacing existing?

I will also have to see which PN to get as microcat says not fitted on my car.
