One of my customers has asked me to reproduce the original County decals for his old Defender. Unfortunately most online photos are not the best quality to work from and I'm struggling to match or get a good image of the word "County". Would anyone with original County decals possibly be able to supply a close-up taken straight on, preferably with overall length of the text and possibly the height of the stripes? Much appreciated. David

That's the stripes, but it looks like they've cheated with a generic font that doesn't quite match.
He has been looking for the original decals but i told him he was unlikely to find any in good condition to fit.

The originals are like hen’s teeth. At some point I need to replace my doors and I looked at getting some decals, 1 set in Germany and that was it!

Pretty sure the year of the above Ninety only had v8 or the p!ss poor n/a diesel.

That’s nice, but the Ninety in the photo (the one the OP is trying to get decals for) is earlier and ipso facto probably isn’t a turbo.

Thanks for all your help guys. This is the mock up I came up with in the end, with nice rounded edges, etc.
I know this is the much newer 90 but it was just used for the general layout, etc. Sizes were traced off an old County and I managed to get a close up of the font in another image.

Looks perfect. Nice to see the decals being put back on. Too many older vehicles have all their originality stripped from them for the sake of trying to look more modern with a stealth grey paint job.
