Hello there,
I have a 1993 200tdi Defendet and I need to move the power steering pump higher up. She’s a LHD and I’m putting in a ZFHP22 and with the engine moving forward the pump interferes with the steering drop arm. Thanks in advance for any help.

Copy the existing PAS pump mounting brackets in new steel but just make them to a size that enables the PAS pump not clash with anything and add a new/longer belt.

Need to ask, where's the pump currently positioned if clashing with the steering drop arm? That's a bloomin' low position if drop arm - might as well bolt to the differential 🤯

Can you mount it to the top of the timing chest where the a/c pump would go?
Take a look at the Glynn Lewis site for ideas

Thanks for that. It's a factory 200TDI LHD but as I'm putting in the ZF everything moves forward, so it's not a problem on a RHD but the LHD clashes. A 300tdi would be fine though but I have a 200tdi and a ZF from a 200tdi Disco.

Well that's a good idea for the alternator so I'm half way there !!! thanks for that.

He makes some great stuff, disco 200 is easier as it already has the holes for the a/c pump, something the defender 200 does not.
I used his idea to make an alternator mount for my disco 200 in the series.
