Hi sd, the short answer is yes. Its very lengthy process and great care is needed as all the plastic bits can break. Might be better to get a few quotes, on time and costs. I had mine done on the classic some time ago and that took about 2 1/2 days. I can say the p38 will be longer as its more bits to remove. Sorry for the negative info but its the nature of the beast. hi,ive just googled it,it came up with o rings, the pipes going into matrix have o rings which leak, ill fix the radiator first then take away some of the dash to see if i can see if o seals are leaking and take it from there, hopefully it just needs o seals mate, its awkward to do but can be done apparently, without removing dash,

Hold on there fella. IF you have coolant in your drivers footwell I will stick my neck out and say its definatley your heater O rings gone. There is an excellent walkthrough here that gives you the quickest way of doing it. If you go by the book it is an 8 hour dash out job. Follow the instructions given and you should be able to do it in 2.

thats superb mate,im just in the middle of trying to get a rad for it,someone put a sealer in the rad to cure the leaking matrix but its blocked the rad up,so when ive done the rad ill do seals on the matrix,
