Replacing Fulcrum Bracket and Ball Joint on Defender

It's like the new unit has slightly different geometry and/or requires a different mounting bracket on the rear axle to make everything line up.

I have no idea what the old one I took off was - it came with the vehicle, but it was knackered. Numerous sites stock this part and nowhere can I see mention of needing to change any other component to fit it. Most sites take pride in saying it's a drop in replacement/upgrade. So how do I get it to fit????

I did give that a go, but perhaps not enough. Only gave the rear end 2 or 3 cranks on the ol farm jack. I'll try a few more. Cheers James
